This popular ten week beginners course forms a gentle introduction to yoga posture practice for total beginners.
You'll explore ten foundation practice principles as you learn how to perform a classic Sun Salutation and a sequence of foundation poses.

Yoga is one of the most popular forms of exercise ~ around thirty million people now practice regularly worldwide.
Regular yoga practice helps you to stay calm, strong, flexible and balanced. The gentle, attentive way we move makes it specially suited to staying fit and active into mid-life and beyond.
Our moderate 'slow-flow' style of yoga is delightfully accessible. We have mixture of practice members between the ages of 30 and 70, with all kinds of strengths and limitations. You don't need to be especially flexible to begin yoga practice.
Please note ~ to enjoy this course you just need to be able to sit down on and get up from the floor.
Our emphasis is on moving slowly and sensitively, in a way that gives your body a comfortable degree of challenge. There's no need to force or strain. You'll learn to discover the postures and variations that work best for you.
No previous experience is needed. Just come along, relax and enjoy your yoga!
The course forms an ideal foundation for joining any of our year round weekly yoga sessions as a practice member.
