It's helpful to do some extra strength and flexibility training on a daily basis to support your weekly yoga practice. And to walk daily for health.
In a standard weekly yoga practice there's little time for the long held passive stretches that most effectively increase our flexibility. And strength training, with reps & sets is a valuable support, still best set aside from our meditative asana practice.
Walking for Health is part of this programme - everyone will be invited to walk 8000-10000 steps a day, five times a week and share images in the WhatsApp group to support and encourage one another. Because it helps to be accountable to someone other than ourselves.
