• These sessions will help you ringfence precious time and space in your week for a balanced weekly yoga practice.
• You'll move in 7 vital ways for spinal health as you explore classic yoga poses.
• You'll refine your understanding of asana practice by focusing on form - grounding, alignment, and the balancing of weights within the body.
• You'll explore modifications with a view to finding the variation of each pose that works well for your own body.
• Weekly practice allows you to map yoga movements - cultivating a finer mind-muscle connection. Poses will start to feel easier, more stable ~ more your own.
• You'll generate fresh sensations in the body that you can enjoy noticing and respond to in a helpful way.
• You'll refine your awareness of the body in motion, moving with your gentle breath. As a by-product of happy, sensitive practice, you'll develop your strength, flexibility and balance.
• You'll practice a set pattern: ~ moving into your pose ~ adjusting your pose in five steps you memorize ~ holding your pose for five long, slow, deep ocean breaths ~ and coming out from the pose.
• In the course of a ten week season, you'll deepen your relationship with ten classic foundation asanas.
