About the sequence
From a stable base, lift up your heart
In this short slow flow session, you will move through some warm ups in a supine position, sitting and all fours. You'll transition to standing and move through a Sun Salutation C Series. Sun Sal. C gives you the opportunity to practice a delightful opening hand gesture. It laces a Low Crescent Lunge into your flow. And it gives you space to explore lowering onto the belly from Plank Pose through Ashtanga Pranam (Knees, Chest, Chin.) Your practice closes in Mountain Pose, taking a moment to settle and centre before stepping off your mat and into the day.
• In Mountain Pose (Tadasana)
If I allow myself to feel, can I cultivate a warm, sensitive, responsive relationship with the earth, through the soles of my feet?
• In Plank Pose (Phalakasana)
If I explore positioning my pelvis one way and then the other, can I find a neutral position of my pelvis in space? So I'm not releasing the pelvis down to form a backbend, or raising it up towards Downward Facing Dog?
