Negotiate your balance
This 75 minute slow-flow humanist yoga practice will give you the opportunity to practice a Spinal Balance (sometimes called Cat Balance or Tabletop Balance ) in the context of a classic Lotus Leaf flow. It's a spinal balance in so much you're challenged to balance the weight of the right and left sides of the body evenly on either side of the spine, while supporting your self on two limbs. Interesting!
• In a Side Bend on All Fours - noticing how your experience of the same anatomical pose or movement is transformed, depending on what your intention is and where you focus your attention within the body.
• In a Spinal Balance - exploring ways to minimise effort and maximise comfort while holding the head and torso parallel to the ground and balancing on opposite limbs.
